- Not as effective as the nylon version
I've been using Yaweco refill heads for a long time and decided to try the natural ones. They do still use plastic, but only for the base, so it's an improvement on the regular nylon heads. I found the bristles had a slight taste for the first few days, but it wore off. However, I don't find the bristles as effective as the nylon ones. It might be because they are softer, despite also being labelled "medium". So, I'm going back to the nylon heads once these wear out. Saving that small amount of plastic isn't worth the increased risk of dental problems for me. But it's a good idea, and I hope Yaweco keep working on their design.
